Mission Statement

The mission of the Craig County Department of Social Services is to assist the agency’s clients in overcoming adverse circumstances in order to triumph over difficult situations caused by poverty, abuse and neglect, in order that they can meet their basic human needs. It is the intent of the Craig County Department of Social Services to provide our citizens with access to adequate, affordable, high quality human/social services. It is the department’s goal to provide these services in a courteous and friendly manner, and to empower our citizens to be the best they can.

Administrative Board

The department’s activities are overseen by an administrative board appointed by the Craig County Board of Supervisors. The current board members are:
