Board Meetings are held in the Courthouse Court Room

All citizens are welcome to attend.

You must call or schedule 10 days prior to the meeting date if you are interested in presenting a Briefing to the Board of Supervisors.

Citizens are always welcome to comment at the meeting during our Hear the Public section, no prior notice need be given to speak during this portion of the meeting.

Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith will have a representative to hear citizen comments every month, 10 am to 12 noon every First Tuesday of the Month in the County Administrator’s Office 2nd Floor Conference room at 108 Court Street in New Castle. The public is encouraged to come by. No appointment is necessary.

5K Color Run April 27th @ Craig County Schools

There will be a 5k run. The route will follow a trail around the school and possibly Field of Dreams. More information will come soon.  April 27th is the date from 10-2. We will have a pre-run Zumba workout on the football field from 10-10:30. The run would begin at 11. We will have vendors set up and would like to get a couple of food vendors as well. We will have two different packages the first is $12 this will include

  • pair of sunglasses
  • 1 inspirational bracelet
  • 2 Temporary Tattoos
  • 1 Color Blaze Sticker

The $20 will include

  • 1 t-shirt
  • 1 pair of sunglasses
  • 1 inspirational bracelet
  • 1 Color Blaze sticker
  • 2 Assorted Temporary Tattoos
