You must call or schedule 10 days prior to the meeting date if you are interested in presenting a Briefing to the Board of Supervisors.
Citizens are always welcome to comment at the meeting during our Hear the Public section, no prior notice need be given to speak during this portion of the meeting.

Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith will have a representative to hear citizen comments every month, 10 am to 12 noon every First Tuesday of the Month in the County Administrator’s Office 2nd Floor Conference room at 108 Court Street in New Castle. The public is encouraged to come by. No appointment is necessary.

Craig County Ole Railroad Fun Run
A 5K Fun Run for all ages, beginning at the Craig County Field of Dreams Sports Complex, following the abandoned C&O railroad bed, then along the Greenway & returning. Enjoy a “country experience” with scenic views of surrounding mountains, farmland and Craigs Creek.
Free t-shirt for the first 150 runners who sign up. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 girls/women and top 3 boys/men.

Directions: When entering Craig County from Roanoke on Route 311 continue approximately 19 miles until you enter the Town of New Castle. Make a right onto Route 615 and continue past the Craig County Schools on the right for approximately 1/2 mile.
Social Services Board Meetings are open to the Public. The meetings are held each month on the 4th Thursday.
The Social Services Office is located at 177 Court Street and their entrance is located at the back of the building. Their offices are on the second floor, an elevator will take you to their offices.
